Connecting the Dual-Sense 5 with PC via Bluetooth

Here are the steps to connect a PS5 controller to your laptop
- Start by holding down your controller’s Start and PlayStation button at the same time, keeping it pressed for at least 5 seconds.
- The LED lights at the front should start flashing. This means the controller is looking to connect to other devices using Bluetooth technology.
- Now go back to your laptop. Go onto settings. Find Bluetooth in the connectivity section.
- There click on the add Bluetooth device. You should see an icon named wireless controller. Select that, and the two devices should be paired shortly.

This process is much easier. Just connect the controller with a USB-C data cable. Plug in the other end of the line into your laptop.

- Once configured, you can customize the button functions to your liking.
- After your customization is finished, do make sure to save this button layout. Save the name and select it as a PlayStation 4 controller. Yep, you saw it right. It will not work if you do not choose your PlayStation 5 controller as PlayStation 4 one.
If the process is successful, you should be getting PlayStation prompts on your laptop. Some games may not support this feature. In that case, you will not be getting these prompts.
You are almost done. Just enable generic gamepad configuration support. After doing this, voila! You are ready to rumble with your Dual-Sense 5 on your laptop.
